  • Looking for the best primary sources, articles, books, chapters, and media to support your arguments, or looking for evidence to support those arguments
  • Wondering how to select and effectively use databases in your research
  • Unsure when and why you should cite your sources or create a bibliography, or want to know the best way to do this
  • Interested in getting all your notes from different sources organized
  • Unsure about the best way to quote a source, or how much to quote

What to expect

You'll get immediate, one-on-one help from Penn Libraries staff. And if we can’t answer your question, we’ll refer you to someone who can.

How to prepare

If your paper is already written, please bring it with you. If you’re still in the planning stages, just stop by!
