The Biomedical Library and Education Commons offer free 3D printing for all members of the Penn Community. 3D printing is available for both academic and non-academic prints. Before submitting your request, please review the details and policies for Penn Libraries' 3D printing services:
NOTE: The Education Commons is closed for the rest of the 2020 spring semester. 3D printing is currently unavailable for non-academic print requests. Please check back at a later date. We apologize for the inconvenience.
- Fill in your complete contact and affiliation information. Make sure that you have entered your email address correctly so we can reach you if we have any questions and when your print is complete.
- For academic/clinical/research prints, select your desired materials. For faster service, or if any material will work for your project, make sure to choose 'ANY' material. If you select multiple materials, our staff will choose for you. NOTE: All non-academic prints will be printed in PLA.
- Provide a detailed description of your project and include any special requests.
