Access to the College Green area of campus will be restricted until further notice. Current students, faculty and staff with a valid Penn card may enter and exit Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center through the Rosengarten Undergraduate Study Center on the ground floor, and may enter and exit the Fisher Fine Arts Library through the 34th Street entrance to Meyerson Hall

As the Program Coordinator of Technology and Play, Christine brings her talents to be a dynamic and curious creative practitioner that bridges her work between the Education Commons and the Vitale Media Lab. Part of Christine’s role is to inspire a community of student makers and designers. Through her work in the Education Commons and Vitale Media Lab, she connects the University with influential creative practitioners to bring the community in through critical making and play. In addition to collaborating with areas across the library providing related programming and services, Christine will connect with subject specialists, library liaisons, peers across campus, and peer institutions.

Christine is an artist whose work explores the combination of technology with traditional art techniques. After graduating from the University of the Arts with a BFA in Animation, Christine has focused her career in video/computer technology and her love of creative problem solving as the Senior Program Support Specialist and Adjunct Professor at Arcadia University in the Department of Media and Communication from 2006- November 2021. During her tenure at Arcadia, Christine has introduced 3D Printing/Scanning, interactive animation, Virtual Reality, alternative camera equipment, among others while securing innovative technology grants for her department.

As a lifelong learner and supporter of STEAM, Christine is constantly exploring and experimenting with different art and technology mediums.
