Description of the floor plan

The main access to the Library spaces on the ground floor of the Fine Arts Building is by way of a stair from the stacks behind the circulation desk. There is an wheelchair-accessible entrance on the south side of the building. While the building is architecturally the most significant of Penn's buildings it retains most of its 19th structure and can be confusing. Please do not hesitate to phone 215-898-8325 or email finearts@pobox.upenn.edu.
The ground floor includes these library spaces on the south end of the building under the stacks: Seminar room, materials library, bathrooms. It includes these non-library spaces: Common press (on the south end), Architectural Archives (with an entrance from the 34th street side of the building).
