Description of the floor plan

The main entrance of the Library is located in Levy Park on the west side of the ground floor. An imposing entrance porch is approached from the north and from the west via half flights of stairs. The porch leads, through double doors, to the lobby of the building's grand stair. Entrance doors to the Library space are straight ahead. The Ross Gallery entrance is on the right.
The ground floor includes these library spaces: Fisher core reading collection, Seng Tee Lee Reading room (the Apse), Room 113 Reading Room, Current Periodicals shelves, New Books shelves, Class of 1964 Reading Room, Exhibitions, Circulation, Reserves, 2 computing & printing room, Perkins Rare Books Library; stacks: N, ND; carrels: 100s. Also on the first floor is the Ross Gallery (not shown, not a Library space; entry is on the south side of the grand stair vestibule).
